Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor came together with Priya Sachdev Kapur, wife of her late ex-husband Sunjay Kapur, to offer prayers at his prayer meet held at Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi. The ceremony brought together both families in a solemn moment of unity and remembrance.

Karisma was accompanied by her children Samaira and Kiaan, who joined her in paying respects to their father. Also present at the meet were Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan, offering strength and support to Karisma and the grieving family.

In a rare moment of grace and composure, Karisma and Priya were seen seated near each other, hands folded in prayer. The visuals captured Karisma standing beside her children, while Priya sat quietly in front, joined by other close family members. The atmosphere remained heavy with emotion as guests paid their respects.

Kareena Kapoor, dressed in white, appeared visibly moved as she greeted others at the event. Her husband, Saif Ali Khan, was also seen offering condolences to attendees. Actress Neha Dhupia was among the familiar faces present at the meet.

This emotional reunion came days after Sunjay Kapur’s funeral, held on June 19 in Delhi. Karisma was photographed consoling her grieving children during the last rites. Viral images showed a heart-wrenching scene where Kiaan broke down in tears, with Kareena standing by her sister’s side throughout the ceremony.

Sunjay Kapur’s Sudden Demise
Sunjay Kapur, aged 53, passed away on June 12 in London following a sudden heart attack during a polo match. According to reports, he accidentally swallowed a bee, which triggered a severe allergic reaction. Despite emergency medical aid, he could not be revived.

A Complex Legacy
Sunjay Kapur was first married to designer Nandita Mahtani before marrying Karisma Kapoor in 2003. The couple separated in 2014, finalizing their divorce in 2016. They shared two children — Samaira (20) and Kiaan (14).

He later married Priya Sachdev, with whom he had a son, Azarias. He was also stepfather to Safira, Priya’s daughter from her previous marriage to businessman-actor Vikram Chatwal. Sunjay is also survived by his mother, Rani Surinder Kapur.
