During the show, hosts jokingly referenced Fahadh Faasil’s character Bhanwar Singh Shekawat with the line, “Party ledha Pushpa?” (Is there no party, Pushpa?) and asked Sukumar whether the third installment would be made. After exchanging nods with Arjun and the producer, Sukumar declared, “Obviously, Pushpa 3 undi (Obviously, we’re making Pushpa 3),” prompting cheers from the audience.
At SIIMA, Allu Arjun won Best Actor, Rashmika Mandanna Best Actress, Sukumar Best Director, Devi Sri Prasad Best Music Composer, and Shankar Babu Kandukuri Best Male Playback Singer for the song Peelings. Arjun took to social media to thank fans and the team, writing, “Winning 3 back-to-back SIIMA Awards is truly a humbling moment… I dedicate these awards to my fans for the unwavering love & support.”
About the Pushpa Films
Pushpa: The Rise (2021) earned ₹350 crore worldwide despite the pandemic, becoming the highest-grossing Indian film of the year. Its sequel, Pushpa 2: The Rule (2024), smashed records with a ₹1,871 crore global haul, making it the highest-grossing Indian film of the year and the biggest Telugu film ever, second only to Dangal in Indian cinema.
Allu Arjun plays Pushpa Raj, a coolie-turned-red sanders smuggler seeking power and legitimacy in a world that constantly challenges him. Pushpa 2 ended on a cliffhanger hinting at Pushpa 3: The Rampage, but production remained uncertain—especially with Sukumar’s upcoming film with Ram Charan and Arjun’s sci-fi project with Atlee and Deepika Padukone.
Fans speculate that promotional footage titled Where is Pushpa?, which wasn’t included in Pushpa 2, may form the foundation for Pushpa 3, continuing the saga of Pushpa Raj.
