Taylor Swift Drops New Album ‘The Life of a Showgirl’

The pop superstar had previewed the album in August on fiancé Travis Kelce’s podcast, New Heights, revealing that the project reflects her “inner life” during the Eras Tour. She described it as a collection of moments that were exuberant, joyful, dramatic, and wildly creative.

Tracklist Highlights
The 12-track album includes: The Fate of Ophelia, Elizabeth Taylor, Opalite, Father Figure, Eldest Daughter, Ruin the Friendship, Actually Romantic, Wi$h Li$t, Wood, CANCELLED!, Honey, and the title track The Life of a Showgirl featuring Sabrina Carpenter. Swift worked with producers Max Martin and Shellback in Sweden, her first collaboration with them since Reputation (2017). This release follows her 2024 album, The Tortured Poets Department.

Official Release Party
Swift will celebrate the album with Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl, screening in theatres across the US and internationally from October 3–5. With The Life of a Showgirl, Swift gives fans a peek into her vibrant inner world, combining storytelling, personal reflection, and the signature energy that has defined her career.
