Bollywood veteran Govinda was admitted to CritiCare Hospital in Mumbai’s Juhu area late Tuesday night after he fainted at his residence. The 61-year-old actor reportedly felt dizzy and disoriented before losing consciousness.
Confirming the news, Govinda’s close friend and legal advisor, Lalit Bindal, told NDTV, “He was given medicine after consulting a doctor and was admitted to the hospital in emergency around 1 am.” The actor has undergone a series of tests, and doctors are monitoring his condition. A Day Before, He Visited Dharmendra
Govinda’s sudden hospitalisation came just a day after he was seen visiting veteran actor Dharmendra, who is currently being treated at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. In a video that went viral, Govinda appeared emotional as he arrived to meet Dharmendra.
Dharmendra has been hospitalised since earlier this month due to breathing difficulties. While initial rumours suggested he was on life support, family members — including Hema Malini and Esha Deol — have clarified that he is stable and recovering well.

Meanwhile, Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, recently made headlines for her candid remarks about their marriage in an interview with Pinkvilla. Reflecting on her decades-long relationship with the actor, she said she “wouldn’t want Govinda as her husband in her next life,” sparking conversation on social media.
The couple, who tied the knot secretly in 1987, share two children — Tina and Yashvardhan Ahuja. While Tina has already debuted in Bollywood, Yashvardhan is expected to make his acting debut soon under the direction of Sai Rajesh Neelam.
