The Asian African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AACCI) has launched its Philippines Chapter, marking a key milestone in its push to deepen economic cooperation and expand cross-border partnerships between Asia and Africa.
The launch event, held at McKinley in Bonifacio Global City, brought together senior leaders, industry stakeholders, and international trade advocates to witness AACCI’s official entry into the Philippine market.
During the ceremony, Ms. Sherlyn Solanoy was appointed President of the AACCI Philippines Chapter, a recognition of her leadership and commitment to advancing global collaboration and sustainable economic development.
AACCI said the establishment of its Philippines Chapter underscores its goal of creating new opportunities for Filipino businesses, strengthening bilateral trade pathways, and connecting local industries with emerging markets across both continents.
Leaders of the organization expressed confidence that the new chapter will serve as a major driver of inclusive growth, entrepreneurship, and stronger commercial and diplomatic ties between Asia and Africa.
The chamber also announced plans to roll out high-impact programs, trade missions, and strategic partnerships aimed at empowering local enterprises and elevating the Philippines’ role in the broader Asian–African economic landscape.
