Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s meeting with Mozambican President Daniel Chapo in Rome drew widespread attention after cameras captured a candid moment highlighting the stark height difference between the two leaders.

As Meloni welcomed Chapo at the Italian government headquarters, she stepped forward to greet him and appeared momentarily surprised, looking up before breaking into a brief smile. The exchange, caught on camera, quickly circulated on social media.

President Chapo, 48, is reported to be about 6 feet 8 inches tall, while Meloni stands around 5 feet 2 inches. The contrast reportedly posed challenges for photographers, some of whom were seen crouching or lying on the ground to frame both leaders together.
