Women’s Commission Probes Yash’s Toxic Teaser Following Complaint

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Women’s Wing has filed a formal complaint with the Karnataka State Women’s Commission over the teaser of Yash’s upcoming film, Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups. Usha Mohan, AAP state secretary, alleged that the teaser contains objectionable visuals that could harm children’s mental well-being.

As reported by NDTV, AAP leaders said the complaint aims “to safeguard social morality and protect vulnerable sections of society,” and urged that the teaser be withdrawn from social media.

The Women’s Commission has responded by asking the CBFC to examine the teaser under applicable rules and submit a report detailing any action taken.

The Controversial Teaser

Released on Yash’s 40th birthday, the teaser went viral due to a scene featuring a woman in an intimate moment with Yash inside a car. The clip sparked widespread debate online, triggering the complaint and public scrutiny.
