Actress Krystle D’Souza has responded to buzz claiming that Tamannaah Bhatia was originally being considered for the song “Shararat” in Dhurandhar before Krystle and Ayesha Khan came on board.

In a conversation with IANS, Krystle clarified that she was unaware of any such reports. “I had no idea about all this. But Tamannaah is amazing. She is beautiful and so good at what she does. More power to her. Whatever is written in someone’s fate, they get it,” she said.

Opening up about bagging the song, Krystle added that she sees it as a matter of destiny. “I feel it was in my fate, it was in Ayesha’s fate, and we got it. But that doesn’t take away from how beautiful Tamannaah is and what a great performer she is. Maybe she would have added her own spunk to the song. She brings her own aura and her own limelight, and that’s beautiful,” she shared.

The actress, who rose to prominence with Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, also stressed the importance of solidarity among women in the industry. She said she takes pride in seeing other women succeed and would love to witness more powerful performances backed by mutual support.

Released in December 2025, Dhurandhar features an ensemble cast led by Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan and Rakesh Bedi. Apart from its narrative and performances, the film also drew attention for its music, with “Shararat” emerging as one of the talking points.
