Actor Rajpal Yadav has opened up about his recent stint in Tihar Jail after the Delhi High Court granted him interim bail in a cheque bounce case. the actor reflected on life behind bars and described being away from his family as the hardest part of the experience.
“The most difficult part was being away from my family,” Rajpal said, adding that he gradually adjusted to prison life. “Beyond that, I accepted the routine. I would wake up early and focus on breathing exercises and maintaining mental balance.”
The actor emphasised that the case has been pending for several years and that he chose to address the issue through legal means. “Every possible legal and respectful option was explored. Sometimes resolution is not just about willingness; it also depends on timing,” he said.

He noted that while work schedules may see temporary changes, he remains committed to acting and will resume professional commitments gradually.
His wife, Radha Yadav, thanked those who reached out with concern and encouragement during the difficult phase, saying the family appreciated every gesture of support.
