The death toll in the Gaza Strip has climbed to 72,070 since the conflict between Hamas and Israel began on October 7, 2023, according to Gaza’s health authorities. The number of injured has reached 171,738.
Health officials said that over the past 48 hours, one body and 10 wounded individuals were brought to hospitals across the territory.
Since a ceasefire took effect last October, authorities report that 612 Palestinians have been killed and 1,640 others wounded.
