Four migrants have died and 10 others remain missing after a boat incident off the coast of Tobruk in eastern Libya, the UN refugee agency (UNHCR) said on Sunday.

“Thirty-one people were on board. Seventeen survived. The others are still missing,” UNHCR said in a post on Facebook, without providing details about the migrants’ nationalities. “People risk the sea when war leaves them no safe way out… Expand safe and legal pathways,” the agency added.
