Neha Dhupia recalls contractions starting at YRF Studios during pregnancy

Neha Dhupia has shared a candid glimpse into her pregnancy journey, revealing that her contractions began while she was working at Yash Raj Studios.

The actress made the revelation on Parineeti Chopra’s talk show Mom Talks, where she spoke about balancing career and motherhood. Neha said she continued working until eight-and-a-half months into her pregnancy, determined not to step away from her professional commitments.

In a promo from the episode, she addressed the expectations placed on new mothers, stressing that motherhood should not limit a woman’s ambitions. “As a woman, you should be able to do all the things you wish to do after becoming a mom. The needle shouldn’t change too much,” she said.

Recalling the moment her labour began, Neha added, “I wanted to go back to work. I worked right till the end… my contractions actually started at Yash Raj Studios.”

Neha is married to actor Angad Bedi. The couple welcomed their daughter Mehr in November 2018 and their son Guriq in October 2021.

Parineeti, who recently stepped into motherhood, welcomed her son Neer in October last year with her husband, Raghav Chadha.
