Emraan Hashmi’s ‘Gunmaaster G9’ Shoot: SUV Flips Mid-Air in High-Risk Stunt, Actor Reportedly Escapes Unhurt

Actor Emraan Hashmi reportedly had a narrow escape while shooting a high-intensity action sequence for his upcoming film Gunmaaster G9. A behind-the-scenes video from the climax shoot has surfaced, showing an SUV flipping in mid-air before crashing onto a black van below, with the vehicle coming dangerously close to the actor.

The video captures the crew getting ready for the stunt as a countdown begins. The SUV, suspended from a crane, rotates upside down in the air before landing on the van’s roof. The dramatic visuals have raised concerns about the circumstances surrounding the stunt and the safety measures in place during filming.

It remains unclear whether the sequence was executed as intended or whether an unexpected incident occurred. No injuries have been reported so far. The film’s makers have not issued an official clarification, and the location of the shoot has not been revealed.

‘Gunmaaster G9’ Set for November Release

The incident has brought the spotlight back on Gunmaaster G9, which is scheduled to release worldwide in theatres on November 27, 2026.

Directed by Aditya Datt, the action-romantic film features Emraan Hashmi, Genelia Deshmukh, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Singh. The makers released the film’s first glimpse in August, introducing Hashmi as Eshwar, a dairy farm owner determined to protect the woman he loves, even if it means going to extreme lengths.

The upcoming film promises action-packed sequences, and the latest footage has drawn attention to the demanding stunts involved in its production.

Haridwar Shoot Also Triggered Controversy

This is not the first time Gunmaaster G9 has attracted attention over an incident during filming. In June, the production team reportedly faced objections in Haridwar after locals spotted a signboard reading ‘Bar and Café’ at the shooting location.

Some residents allegedly mistook the film set for an actual bar, leading to a gathering that disrupted the shoot and sparked questions about the use of the signboard in the holy city.

Producer Deepak Mukut later clarified that the team had no intention of hurting anyone’s religious sentiments. He said the issue was resolved after discussions with local residents. Mukut also expressed surprise at the allegations, stating that he would never consider opening a bar in Haridwar.

Emraan Hashmi Plays Eshwar in the Film

In Gunmaaster G9, Hashmi portrays Eshwar, a dairy farm owner whose actions are driven by his determination to protect the woman he loves. Genelia Deshmukh, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Singh are also part of the cast.

With its theatrical release scheduled for November 27, 2026, the film is generating buzz for its action sequences and storyline. The circumstances surrounding the SUV stunt, however, remain unconfirmed as audiences await a response from the filmmakers.
