Kavya Maran and Anirudh Ravichander’s Reception on November 21, Telangana CM Receives Invite
Wedding buzz surrounding Sunrisers Hyderabad co-owner Kavya Maran and renowned music composer Anirudh Ravichander has intensified after the Telangana Chief Minister’s Office announced their wedding reception date. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has been invited to the celebration, which is scheduled to take place in Chennai on November 21.
The invitation was delivered by Kavya’s parents, Sun Group chairman Kalanithi Maran and his wife, Kavery Maran, during a meeting with the Chief Minister at his residence in Jubilee Hills.
The Telangana CMO shared the development in a post on X, stating that the couple’s reception would be held in Chennai later next month.
“Sun Group Chairman Shri Kalanithi Maran and his wife, Smt. Kavery Maran, met Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy at his residence in Jubilee Hills and invited him to the wedding reception of their daughter, Kavya Maran,” the official post read.
The statement further specified November 21 as the date of the reception. While this announcement confirms the reception arrangements, reports suggesting that the wedding ceremony will take place in Greece on November 11 have yet to be officially verified.
Anirudh Had Earlier Denied Marriage Speculation
Rumours about a possible relationship between Kavya Maran and Anirudh Ravichander have circulated for several years. In June 2025, the composer addressed speculation about his alleged wedding plans with Kavya and dismissed the claims on social media.
Responding to the rumours on X, Anirudh wrote, “Marriage ah? lol .. Chill out guys. Please stop spreading rumours.”
The latest announcement by the Telangana CMO has renewed attention on the pair, though neither has publicly shared detailed confirmation of the wedding ceremony.
Kavya Maran: A Familiar Face in the IPL
Kavya Maran is the daughter of Kalanithi Maran and is associated with Sunrisers Hyderabad, the IPL franchise owned by the Sun Group. Her regular appearances at matches and expressive reactions from the stands have made her a popular figure among cricket enthusiasts.
Anirudh Ravichander is among the prominent composers in Indian cinema, with several commercially successful soundtracks to his credit. His work spans major Tamil films and other Indian-language projects, making him one of the industry’s widely recognised music talents.
With the reception scheduled for November 21 in Chennai, the announcement has added a fresh development to the ongoing speculation surrounding the pair. Further details about the wedding ceremony are awaited.
