Tiger Shroff Firing Incident: First Photo of Suspects Surfaces, Police Trace Bike Abandoned at Andheri Station
The first photograph of the suspected shooters involved in the firing incident linked to Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff has emerged as Mumbai Police intensifies efforts to identify and arrest those responsible for the attack in Juhu on Sunday evening.
The image, reportedly captured near the crime scene, shows two men wearing white shirts, with one sporting a black cap bearing the Puma logo. Police are examining available evidence to establish their identities and trace their movements.
In a key development, investigators have recovered the motorcycle allegedly used during the attack. The suspects reportedly abandoned the vehicle at Andheri railway station before escaping.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the motorcycle is registered in Mumbai. Police are scrutinising its registration records, number plate, chassis number and engine number to determine its ownership and establish whether it has any previous links to criminal activity.
CCTV footage from the area and nearby locations is also being analysed to reconstruct the suspects’ movements following the shooting.
Three Men Suspected of Involvement
Investigators believe three men may have participated in the incident. According to preliminary information, two suspects were involved in the firing, while a third arrived on a motorcycle and appeared to be waiting to assist their escape.
Footage from the scene reportedly shows one man firing several rounds. Another appears to attempt to discharge his weapon, although it is not yet clear whether a shot was fired.
The third individual allegedly remained on the motorcycle, seemingly prepared to help the other two flee. Police are examining the footage to determine each suspect’s role and establish the sequence of events.
Tiger Shroff Unhurt as Two People Sustain Injuries
The incident occurred as the 36-year-old actor was leaving after playing a football match in Mumbai’s Juhu area.
Shroff escaped major injury, but his driver, Firdaus, and an autorickshaw driver identified as Chauhan were reportedly injured during the incident.
According to the available account, Shroff was seated on the side of the vehicle when the shooting began and moved towards the driver’s seat during the incident.
The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for the attack and reportedly issued fresh threats against individuals associated with Bollywood actor Salman Khan. Investigators are examining the claim as part of the wider probe.
Mumbai Police Form 15 Investigation Teams
Mumbai Police has deployed 15 teams, including personnel from the Crime Branch and local police units, to track down the suspects.
Investigators are reviewing CCTV footage from the surrounding area, while forensic experts have collected ballistic evidence and inspected the vehicle to determine the number of rounds fired.
The recovered motorcycle is expected to provide further leads as officers investigate its ownership, registration details and possible connection to the suspects.
Fadnavis Directs Police to Expedite Probe
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, who also holds the Home portfolio, spoke with Mumbai Police Commissioner Deven Bharti and Tiger Shroff after the incident. Fadnavis instructed the police to speed up the investigation and apprehend those responsible, assuring the actor that efforts were underway to trace the suspects.
Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also visited Shroff at his residence following the attack. During the visit, Shinde reportedly revealed that the actor had suffered gunpowder burns on his right hand.
Calling the incident serious, Shinde promised strict action against the perpetrators and warned that no gang or individual would be allowed to revive gang warfare in Mumbai.
Police are continuing to examine the available evidence, with CCTV footage, forensic findings and the recovered motorcycle central to efforts to identify the suspects and establish the circumstances of the shooting.
