Abhishek Bachchan Breaks Silence on Divorce Rumours: “We’re a Happy Family, Period.”

Abhishek Bachchan has addressed the ongoing speculation surrounding his marriage with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, calling the divorce rumours baseless and unfounded.

In a recent interview with Instant Bollywood, the actor said, “I go back home to a happy family.” He praised his wife Aishwarya for keeping negativity at bay, saying, “One thing is for sure — first my mother (Jaya Bachchan) and now my wife (Aishwarya) — they don’t allow the outside world to come into our home.”

Abhishek, who has been part of the film industry all his life, added, “I’ve grown up here. I know what to take seriously and what not to. I don’t get affected by social media noise.”

The couple, who married in 2007 and have a daughter, Aaradhya, have been the subject of intense online speculation in recent months. The buzz picked up after their separate appearances at major events and the absence of other Bachchans from Aishwarya’s social media posts, including Aaradhya’s birthday.

Even Amitabh Bachchan weighed in recently with a cryptic blog post, criticising “speculations without verification” and defending his family’s privacy.

With this clear response, Abhishek has reaffirmed that their relationship remains strong, and the rumours are just that — rumours.
