Kantara: Chapter 1 Leads Advance Bookings Ahead of Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.

Rishab Shetty’s Kantara: Chapter 1 is generating massive buzz ahead of its October 2 release. Fans across India and abroad have shown strong interest, with advance bookings opening early in Karnataka, North India, and the USA.

Advance Booking Edge

The film has reportedly sold around 7,200 tickets for opening day across major chains like PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis. Its competitor, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, starring Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan, has booked about 4,500 tickets, giving Kantara an early advantage.

Distributors Demand Maximum Shows

Hombale Films and distributor AA Films have asked exhibitors to allocate all shows in single- and two-screen cinemas and 18 shows in three-screen multiplexes, even with the competing release. Such a request is rare and underscores the confidence in Kantara’s box-office potential.

About Kantara: Chapter 1

One of Hombale Films’ most ambitious projects, Kantara features B. Ajaneesh Loknath’s music, cinematography by Arvind Kashyap, and production design by Vinesh Banglan. The film includes a large-scale war sequence with 500 trained fighters and 3,000 extras shot over 45–50 days on 25 acres. It will release in Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Bengali, and English.
