BCCI Revises Sponsorship Rates After Dream11 Pullout.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has increased Team India’s jersey sponsorship rates to ₹3.5 crore per match in bilateral series and ₹1.5 crore per game in multilateral events. These revised figures will apply to ICC and Asian Cricket Council (ACC) competitions and mark a hike from the earlier ₹3.17 crore and ₹1.12 crore, respectively.

The revision follows Dream11’s withdrawal as title sponsor after the implementation of the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025. The Act prohibits companies from offering or advertising real-money gaming services, forcing Dream11 to shut down such operations and exit its contract with the BCCI.

With the new rates, the board expects to generate over ₹400 crore annually, though final earnings will depend on the bidding process. The revised sponsorship structure will come into force after the Asia Cup, which begins on September 9 in the UAE.

The BCCI has already invited bids for the title sponsorship, setting September 16 as the last date for submissions. Companies linked to real-money gaming or cryptocurrency have been barred from the process.
