Jaipur Accident: At Least 10 Dead, Several Injured as Dumper Truck Overturns on Sikar Road.

A major road accident in Jaipur on Monday claimed the lives of at least 10 people and left several others injured after an out-of-control dumper truck rammed into multiple vehicles and overturned. The tragic incident occurred on the Jaipur–Sikar Road, near Loha Mandi, causing chaos and massive traffic disruption.

According to eyewitnesses, the dumper, which was reportedly speeding, lost control after colliding with a car. The impact caused the heavy vehicle to overturn, crushing the smaller car beneath it. Several other vehicles, including two cars and a motorcycle, were also hit in the chain collision.

Preliminary reports suggest that brake failure may have led to the accident. Officials confirmed that more than half a dozen vehicles were damaged and several passengers were trapped inside. Police and disaster response teams quickly arrived at the site and began rescue operations, using cranes to remove the overturned dumper and clear the debris.

Traffic on the busy Jaipur–Sikar route has been completely diverted, and authorities have urged commuters to avoid the area until clearance operations are complete.

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has expressed grief over the incident and directed local authorities to ensure swift medical assistance to the injured. He also ordered the creation of a green corridor to allow ambulances unhindered passage to nearby hospitals.

Disturbing visuals from the scene showed mangled vehicles and injured people lying by the roadside, underscoring the severity of the crash. Police said efforts are underway to identify the victims and contact their families, while an investigation has been launched to determine the exact cause of the accident.
