Bhopal Model, 27, Dies Under Suspicious Circumstances; Boyfriend Detained.

Khushboo Ahirwar, a 27-year-old model from Mandi Bamora in Madhya Pradesh, was found dead in Bhopal under mysterious circumstances, prompting her family to accuse her boyfriend, Qasim Ahmed, of involvement.

The family claimed that Qasim, who allegedly introduced himself as Rahul, had pressured Khushboo to convert to his religion and marry him. They further alleged that she was physically assaulted, leaving visible injuries on her body, including belt marks and head wounds.

Bhopal DCP Mayur Khandelwal told News18 India that Khushboo and Qasim had been in a live-in relationship for over 1.5 years. On the night of her death, Khushboo reportedly fell ill while travelling by bus with Qasim, who took her to Chirayu Hospital. She was admitted but was declared dead by doctors.

Police confirmed that serious injuries were found on her body and stated that more than one person may have been involved. Qasim has been detained, and authorities are investigating the case. Officials noted that a conclusive determination of murder can only be made after the post-mortem report, which will also clarify the cause of the injuries.

So far, police have found no evidence of any religious conversion.
