BLACKPINK’s Full Album May Arrive in December; YG Entertainment Confirms Plans Are Not Final

BLACKPINK fans may need a little more patience for the group’s next big comeback. Recent reports suggest that the four-member K-pop sensation—Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa—could release their full-length studio album in December 2025, instead of the previously expected November.

According to Xports News, BLACKPINK is currently preparing their first major group album in over three years, following Born Pink (2022). This comes after their single Jump, released earlier this year, which received global acclaim.

YG Entertainment Responds to Speculation

In response to the news, BLACKPINK’s agency YG Entertainment told Maeil Kyungjae, “Nothing has been decided regarding the group’s comeback.” The statement did not confirm a December release but noted that an official announcement will follow once plans are finalized.

Earlier reports indicated that YG founder Yang Hyun Suk had aimed for a November release, but the shift to December is believed to be a strategic decision to close the year with a major global launch.

Fans Anticipate a Full-Length Album

The upcoming record is expected to be a full-length album, not a mini-album, marking BLACKPINK’s first group project since their contract renewals. Fans are eagerly awaiting new music as the group continues to solidify their global dominance.

Alongside the album buzz, BLACKPINK has been active with their DEADLINE World Tour, which resumes in Kaohsiung after a two-month break dedicated to album preparations. Two additional concert dates have been added, extending the tour until January 26, 2026, with a larger Asian leg expected to follow, keeping fans excited for more global performances.
