Param Sundari Box Office Day 2: Sidharth–Janhvi Film Grows, Collects ₹16.47 Crore.
Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor’s Param Sundari picked up momentum on Saturday, August 30, after a steady opening day. The romantic drama earned an estimated ₹9.22 crore on Day 2, taking its total domestic collection to ₹16.47 crore. The film had opened with ₹7.25 crore, making it Sidharth’s fifth-biggest career opener.
According to film trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the Day 1 figures surpassed Shahid Kapoor’s Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. On Saturday, Param Sundari posted a 15.80% occupancy rate in Hindi markets, with evening shows performing best. While Delhi-NCR had the highest number of screenings (1,233), Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad recorded the strongest audience turnout.
Storyline
The film follows Param Sachadev (Sidharth Malhotra), a restless entrepreneur tasked by his father to find a soulmate within 10 days to secure a ₹5 crore investment. His journey leads him to Kochi, where he meets Sundari (Janhvi Kapoor), a homestay owner. Cultural clashes and Sundari’s family friend Venugopal complicate a story built on love, risk, and second chances.
