Prabhas to Shoot Kalki 2 and Spirit Simultaneously, Sai Pallavi Likely to Join Kalki 2

Prabhas is set for an action-packed February, juggling two of his most anticipated projects – Kalki 2 and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit.

Kalki 2 gears up

Principal photography for Kalki 2, the sequel to Kalki: 2898 AD, is slated to begin in February 2026, with Nag Ashwin returning as director. After Deepika Padukone exited the project last year over work and fee issues, reports suggest Sai Pallavi is being considered as her replacement, though nothing is confirmed yet.

Spirit resumes

Prabhas will also return to shoot for Spirit, which stars Triptii Dimri, Vivek Oberoi, and Prakash Raj. The film, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, started shooting late last year, and is slated for a worldwide release on March 5, 2027. Spirit was also initially meant to feature Deepika before her exit in 2025.

With two major films in the pipeline, Prabhas is set to make 2026 a landmark year for his fans.
