Ahaan Panday’s Blockbuster Debut Came After 3 Years of Training, Says Shanoo Sharma.

Ahaan Panday is riding high after Saiyaara turned into a ₹300 crore blockbuster within three weeks of release. But YRF’s casting director Shanoo Sharma says his “overnight” success was years in the making. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Shanoo revealed that Ahaan trained for three years — often alongside Munjya star Sharvari — before cameras rolled.

“We kept doing improvisations and scenes. I trained them personally. Then COVID hit, and while waiting, he worked as an AD on The Railway Men,” she said.

Even as his peers moved ahead, Ahaan stayed focused. “It may have irked him, but it never broke his spirit. His spirit is on another level,” Shanoo added.

Still Ruling the Box Office
Despite new releases like Ajay Devgn’s Son of Sardaar 2 and Dhadak 2 starring Triptii Dimri and Siddhant Chaturvedi, Saiyaara remains steady thanks to glowing word of mouth.

The film’s leads, Ahaan and Aneet Padda, celebrated in style at a success party. Ahaan wore a white tee, grey jacket and jeans, while Aneet stunned in a yellow sleeveless top and denim. Though no pictures of them together surfaced, solo shots show them posing with fans and the crew, with the Saiyaara title track remix playing in the background.
