Kolkata Law College Gang-Rape Chargesheet: Victim Filmed Through Wall Hole.
The chargesheet in the Kolkata law college rape case reveals that the prime accused, Manojit Mishra, filmed obscene videos of the victim through a hole in an exhaust fan and used them to blackmail her. DNA evidence confirms Mishra’s involvement, and forensic analysis matched his samples to the crime scene.
The first-year student was allegedly gang-raped on June 25 on the South Calcutta Law College campus by Mishra, an alumnus, along with co-accused Zaib Ahmed and Pramit Mukherjee. Security guard Pinaki Banerjee has also been named in the case, bringing the total accused to four.
CCTV footage shows the accused dragging and restraining the victim. Investigators recovered multiple obscene videos from the accused’s phones, all recorded through the exhaust fan wall hole. Voice samples from the videos matched the accused, and mobile location data placed them at the scene.
The chargesheet states the security guard locked the guard room instead of informing authorities.
Mishra, previously arrested eight times and employed temporarily at the college since 2024, has been dismissed. Ahmed and Mukherjee, students at the college, were expelled.
