Delhi Traffic Advisory: Restrictions Around Bharat Mandapam for India AI Impact Expo 2026; Curbs Near Rajghat and Delhi High Court
As the India AI Impact Expo 2026 enters its final day at Bharat Mandapam on Saturday, the Delhi Traffic Police has issued a comprehensive advisory warning of traffic restrictions and diversions across key parts of the national capital.
In a post on X, the police said traffic will remain affected near Rajghat between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM due to official requirements. Restrictions and diversions may be imposed as needed to ensure public safety and smooth movement.
Authorities stated that the measures are designed to manage the anticipated surge in visitors and vehicular movement associated with the high-profile event.
Restrictions from 9 AM to 8 PM
According to the advisory, traffic regulations will be in place from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM around the expo venue. Commuters have been cautioned about possible congestion on several major routes during these hours.
Likely diversion points include ITO Chowk, Delhi Gate, Guru Nanak Chowk, Shanti Van Chowk, Rajghat DTC Depot, and IP Flyover.

Additionally, Bhairon Road, Bhagwan Dass Road, Purana Qila Road, and Mathura Road are also likely to experience traffic impact.
Motorists have been advised to use alternate routes such as Tilak Marg, Sikandra Road, and Ring Road to minimise delays.
Advisory for commuters
The Delhi Traffic Police has urged residents to plan their travel in advance and allow extra time for their journeys. Commuters are encouraged to use public transport where possible and park only in designated areas.
Drivers have been asked to follow instructions from traffic personnel, maintain lane discipline, and cooperate with authorities to ensure smoother traffic flow.
Police also advised citizens to stay updated through official Delhi Traffic Police communication channels for real-time traffic information.
Traffic curbs near Delhi High Court
Separate traffic arrangements will be enforced around the Delhi High Court complex from February 21 to 23, 2026, due to polling for the Bar Council of Delhi elections. Voting will take place daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Sher Shah Road, from both the India Gate and Mathura Road sides, will remain closed during polling hours.
Commuters have been advised to avoid Tilak Marg, C-Hexagon at India Gate, Zakir Hussain Marg, Sher Shah Road, and Purana Quila Road during this period. No halting or parking will be permitted at C-Hexagon and adjoining roads.
