Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar’ Crosses Rs 900 Crore Worldwide, Eyes Rs 1,000 Crore Club.

Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar, has crossed the Rs 900 crore mark globally, becoming the first Indian release of 2025 to hit this milestone. Even in its third week, the film continues to show remarkable staying power. After a slight dip on its third Monday, Dhurandhar quickly bounced back, earning Rs 17.25 crore net in India on Day 19 (Tuesday). This takes its domestic net collection to Rs 589.50 crore, with the total India gross now at Rs 707.25 crore.

Overseas, the film remains a hit, particularly in North America and the Middle East, raking in USD 22 million so far. The worldwide total now stands at approximately Rs 905 crore after 19 days.

Analysts expect Dhurandhar to enter the top 10 highest-grossing Indian films of all time, potentially surpassing Secret Superstar, Animal, and Bajrangi Bhaijaan in the coming days. At its current pace, the Rs 1,000 crore worldwide mark is well within reach, making it one of the strongest box office performers of 2025.

Critics have lauded the film for its bold and nuanced storytelling. Showsha gave it 4 stars, writing:
“Dhurandhar features profanity, gore, and violence, but it enhances the narrative rather than serving as cheap thrills. The film presents a complex, meandering story set against a political and espionage backdrop — based on true events but dramatized for cinematic effect.”

Set in Pakistan, Dhurandhar follows an Indian spy infiltrating the Lyari gangs in the early 2000s. The ensemble cast includes Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi, delivering a gripping mix of action, drama, and real-life inspired intrigue.
