Second Earthquake in Two Days Jolts Delhi-NCR, Epicentre in Haryana’s Jhajjar.
Tremors were felt across Delhi-NCR on Friday evening after a magnitude 3.7 earthquake struck Jhajjar, Haryana, marking the second quake in the region within 48 hours. The National Centre for Seismology (NCS) reported that the earthquake occurred at 7:49 PM at a depth of 10 kilometers.
On Thursday morning, a 4.4 magnitude quake had also struck near Jhajjar, sending tremors through Delhi and neighbouring cities. While both quakes were mild, the repeated seismic activity has caused concern among residents. So far, no injuries or structural damage have been reported.
