Elon Musk Alleges Epstein Coerced Adult Victims Into Trafficking

Tech billionaire Elon Musk has claimed that many of Jeffrey Epstein’s underage victims were later coerced into participating in trafficking activities after they turned 18.

Responding to a question on social media about why several of Epstein’s victims have not publicly named influential individuals allegedly connected to him, Musk wrote: “Most of the child victims were turned into traffickers themselves by Epstein after age 18.”

He alleged that Epstein used coercion to ensure silence, suggesting that forcing victims into criminal activity created stronger leverage than legal agreements. “By making them commit a crime with him, Epstein ensured their silence more than any NDA possibly could,” Musk added.

Call for Amnesty

Musk further argued that victims should be granted legal protection in order to speak freely. “They should be offered amnesties in order to testify,” he wrote, suggesting that fear of prosecution may be preventing some individuals from coming forward.

Background on the Case

Jeffrey Epstein was previously convicted of sex offences involving minors and was later charged with federal sex trafficking crimes. He died in August 2019 in a Manhattan jail cell while awaiting trial. Authorities ruled his death a suicide.

Epstein’s longtime associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, was convicted in 2021 on sex trafficking and conspiracy charges for recruiting underage girls for him. She is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence. During her trial, Maxwell claimed she had also been manipulated by Epstein.

The US Department of Justice has released millions of documents related to the Epstein investigation, including emails, contact lists, flight logs and internal records. The files reference numerous high-profile individuals from politics, business and academia. However, the government has redacted the names and personal details of more than 1,000 victims to protect their privacy and safety.
