Petrol and diesel rates have stayed consistent for several months, as global crude prices remain relatively stable and the government maintains existing excise and VAT structures.

In New Delhi, petrol is priced at ₹94.77 per litre, while diesel costs ₹87.71 per litre. In Mumbai, petrol stands at ₹103.49 per litre and diesel at ₹90.01 per litre. Chennai recorded petrol at ₹100.73 per litre and diesel at ₹92.32 per litre, while in Kolkata, the prices were ₹104.04 and ₹91.75 per litre, respectively.

Fuel prices in India are reviewed daily based on international crude oil movements and foreign exchange rates. Any changes are implemented by Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL), and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) at 6 a.m. each day.es remain steady across India today
