Samantha Ruth Prabhu Marries Raj Nidimoru in Intimate Bhuta Shuddhi Ceremony at Isha Foundation.

Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu and filmmaker Raj Nidimoru tied the knot on December 1 in a private, spiritual ceremony at the Isha Foundation in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The wedding followed the Linga Bhairavi Vivaha tradition and was attended only by close friends and family.

The couple’s choice of a low-key, early-morning ceremony highlighted the deeply spiritual nature of the event. Samantha shared glimpses of the rituals on Instagram, while her close friend Shilpa Reddy posted exclusive photos and videos from the occasion.

A Ritual of Spiritual Union

The wedding followed the ancient Bhuta Shuddhi Vivaha, a yogic ritual symbolizing union at an elemental level, designed to create a profound spiritual bond between partners. The venue was decorated with white flowers, pink roses, baskets of blooms, and traditional lamps and diyas, creating a serene and sacred ambiance.

Guests received vivah kanukalu (wedding gifts), including incense made from Isha flowers, a personal note from Sadhguru, handmade Indian chocolates, and perfume from Samantha’s brand Secret Alchemist.

In photographs, Samantha and Raj could be seen gazing at each other, garlands adorning their necks, capturing the essence of the ceremony. Shilpa, seated beside Samantha, described the event as “a beautiful Bhuta Shuddhi Vivaha,” and wore a leaf green kanchi cotton sari with a red border and traditional South Indian temple jewellery.

Personal Histories

Samantha was previously married to actor Naga Chaitanya (2017–2021), in ceremonies blending Christian and Hindu traditions. Raj had earlier been married to Shhyamali De, with reports indicating their separation in 2022.
