Prabhas Rumoured to Make a Special Cameo in Prasanth Varma’s ‘Mahakali’

Speculation is rife that Prabhas might appear in a special cameo in Prasanth Varma’s upcoming mythological drama Mahakali. While the makers have yet to officially confirm his involvement, reports suggest that he has already completed shooting his part, though details about his character remain under wraps. The film also marks Akshaye Khanna’s Telugu debut.

Prabhas’s Upcoming Projects

Prabhas is currently busy with Fauzi, a period action drama directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, scheduled for a Dussehra 2026 release. The film stars debutant Imanvi, alongside Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, and Jaya Prada.

Earlier, he appeared in The Raja Saab, a horror-comedy directed by Maruthi, co-starring Sanjay Dutt, Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, and Riddhi Kumar. Despite its star cast, the film received a lukewarm response.

Looking further ahead, Prabhas is set to star in Spirit, a cop action drama directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, releasing on March 5, 2027. Triptii Dimri makes her South Indian debut as the co-lead, while Vivek Oberoi plays the antagonist. The first-look poster for Spirit has already generated buzz online.

Bhoomi Shetty as Mahakali

Bhoomi Shetty’s first-look poster as Goddess Kali was released last year, showcasing her fierce avatar with a black-painted face and intense eyes. Sharing the poster on X, Prasanth Varma wrote:

Akshaye Khanna as Shukracharya

Akshaye Khanna’s debut in Telugu cinema has added excitement for Mahakali fans. His first-look poster as the formidable Asuraguru Shukracharya has gone viral online. Prasanth Varma captioned it:
“In the shadows of gods, rose the brightest flame of rebellion 🔥. Presenting The Enigmatic Akshaye Khanna as the eternal ‘Asuraguru SHUKRACHARYA’ from Mahakali.”

With Prabhas’s rumored cameo, Bhoomi Shetty’s commanding presence as Mahakali, and Akshaye Khanna’s intense portrayal of Shukracharya, Mahakali is shaping up to be a highly anticipated addition to the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe.
