In a major casting coup, Rashmika Mandanna has joined forces with Allu Arjun and director Atlee for one of Indian cinema’s most ambitious upcoming films. Tentatively titled AA22xA6, the high-octane action spectacle is being pitched as a genre-defying, multi-universe saga with global ambitions.

Following the massive successes of Jawan and Pushpa 2: The Rule, Atlee and Allu Arjun are collaborating for the first time — and the buzz is already sky-high. Rashmika, who previously shared screen space with Arjun in the Pushpa franchise, is set to take on a drastically different role in this new project.

According to sources close to the production, the actress has completed a look test and body scan in Los Angeles as part of early pre-production work. “This will be one of Rashmika’s most daring roles yet,” the source said. “Her dynamic with Allu Arjun in this film is completely different from what fans have seen before.”

The film is reportedly set across two contrasting universes, with Atlee aiming for a visually groundbreaking experience — something akin to Avatar in terms of scale and world-building. The ensemble cast also includes Deepika Padukone, Janhvi Kapoor, and Mrunal Thakur, signaling a truly pan-Indian lineup.

Backed by Sun Pictures, the project is already being described as a technical marvel, with post-production planned to run alongside filming. Shooting is expected to wrap in the latter half of 2026, with a global release eyed for late 2026 or early 2027 in multiple languages.

A first-look teaser and official title reveal are expected soon, with insiders calling it “one of the boldest cinematic ventures to come out of India.”
