Kalyani Priyadarshan Recalls Emotional Moment From Vijay Deverakonda–Rashmika Wedding

Actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Udaipur on February 26.

The wedding, held at ITC Mementos Udaipur, was conducted according to Telugu and Kodava traditions, with only close family members and friends in attendance. Among the select guests was actor Kalyani Priyadarshan, who later shared an emotional note reflecting on the couple’s big day.

Taking to Instagram Stories, Kalyani posted a picture from the ceremony and described a deeply moving moment she witnessed.

“Today I watched the kindest girl marry her best friend, in the most breathtaking setting,” she wrote. “As she walked toward him — and he sat there, waiting with his back turned — you could feel the weight of every step she took. Those slow, steady breaths and welled up eyes said everything.”

Calling it a privilege to witness a love rooted in “effort, respect and deep friendship,” Kalyani congratulated the couple and wished them a beautiful beginning to their married life. Several other celebrities, including Vicky Kaushal, Kriti Sanon and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, also extended their wishes to the newlyweds.

Rashmika Introduces ‘My Husband’

Rashmika shared dreamy glimpses from the ceremony and introduced Vijay as her husband in a heartfelt post.

“Hi my loves, introducing to you now ‘My Husband’! Mr. Vijay Deverakonda!!” she wrote. She went on to describe him as the man who taught her what true love and peace feel like, encouraged her to dream big, and supported her unconditionally through every phase of life.

Reflecting on her journey, she added that many of her achievements and experiences now “make a lot more sense” because he has been by her side witnessing it all. Overflowing with excitement, she called it “full party time” and expressed her joy at beginning this new chapter together.

The wedding — fondly dubbed the ‘Virosh’ celebration by fans — marks the start of a much-anticipated new phase in the couple’s relationship, one built, as their friends describe it, on enduring friendship and mutual respect.
