Khamenei Mocks Trump Amid ‘No King’ Protests, Warns Against Foreign Interference.

Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has ridiculed US President Donald Trump as massive “No King” protests sweep across the United States. The protests, organised against Trump’s policies on immigration, education, and security, have drawn millions of participants who accuse his administration of steering the country toward autocracy.

In a statement on X, Khamenei questioned Trump’s capabilities, writing, “According to reports, seven million people are chanting slogans against this individual in different states across America. If you’re that capable, calm them down, send them back to their residences, and don’t interfere in the affairs of other countries.” He also shared images from protests occurring nationwide.

The remarks come a day after Khamenei rejected a US offer for renewed talks and dismissed Trump’s claim that Iran’s nuclear facilities were destroyed in a June airstrike. He further challenged Washington’s authority on nuclear matters, asking, “What position do you hold in the world? How is it any of America’s business whether Iran has nuclear capabilities and a nuclear industry or not?”

‘No King’ Protests Across the US

On Saturday, demonstrators took to the streets in all 50 US states, with organisers reporting seven million participants from New York to Los Angeles, including smaller cities and near Trump’s Florida residence. Protesters rallied against what they called the president’s autocratic policies, chanting slogans such as, “This is what democracy looks like!” in Washington near the US Capitol.

Republicans dismissed the demonstrations as “Hate America” rallies, while participants emphasised the nationwide scale and peaceful nature of the protests.
