Kiku Sharda’s Exit Rumours Spark After Clash With Krushna Abhishek on Kapil Sharma’s Show.

Kiku Sharda, one of the most popular faces of The Great Indian Kapil Show, is reportedly stepping away from the Netflix comedy series. The actor-comedian has been a core part of Kapil Sharma’s team for years, entertaining audiences with fan-favourite characters like Bumper Lottery.

The buzz began after celebrity photographer Viral Bhayani shared on Instagram that Kiku has quit the show. Reports suggest he has signed a new reality series titled Rise and Fall, which will soon stream on Amazon MX Player and be hosted by Ashneer Grover. His commitment to the project is being linked to his decision to exit Kapil’s show.

The speculation was further fuelled by a leaked video showing a heated on-set exchange between Kiku and co-star Krushna Abhishek. In the clip, the two can be heard arguing over stage time, before Krushna tried to soften the tension by saying, “I love you and respect you, I don’t want to raise my voice.” Kiku, however, stood his ground, clarifying that his words were being misinterpreted.

So far, Kiku has not confirmed whether he has indeed quit the Netflix show. Neither Kapil Sharma nor the makers have issued a statement on the matter.

Known for his comic timing and versatility, Kiku has often spoken about his approach to performance. In earlier interviews, he said he never had doubts about playing female characters: “I can go to any extent for my craft. As long as the audience finds it entertaining and dignified, I am happy to do it.”

For now, fans are left waiting to see whether Kiku’s departure marks the end of an era on Kapil’s show — or just a temporary pause in their long-running collaboration.
