Kolkata woman Pamela Pal Das has won the prestigious title of Mrs. World United Nations 2022 this year. The tenth-anniversary edition of United Nations Pageants was held recently in New Delhi.
Dr. Sanjeev Dev Malik, international pageantry jury member, Siddesh Jadhav, Ukrainian Model Kseniia, and physiotherapist Dr. Garima Anandani were present on the occasion.
Brimming with joy, Pamela said, “This event has brought together representatives of a wide range of communities and cultures from all over the globe. From the world’s most culturally diverse state, our delegates aim to share common values and foster international friendship and understanding. It would not have been possible without the help of my family members who have supported me at each step and kept me motivated.”
The pageant’s principal objective is to identify and showcase the world’s best tourism or cause ambassadors; those who have the skills, talents, and personalities best suited to promote their respective countries in furtherance of tourism, international goodwill, and cultural harmony. Apart from a strong emphasis on goodwill or tourism protection programs and destinations promotion. Altogether 80 contestants from 40 countries competed in the pageant.
