Krystle D’Souza Breaks Silence on Replacing Tamannaah Bhatia in Shararat: “Please Don’t Tear Another Person Apart”
Krystle D’Souza Responds to Shararat Controversy: “Please Don’t Tear Another Person Apart”
Krystle D’Souza has been in the limelight following Dhurandhar’s song Shararat, featuring her alongside Ayesha Khan. The song’s popularity sparked a controversy when fans misinterpreted choreographer Vijay Ganguly’s comments, assuming Tamannaah Bhatia was initially considered for the number and later replaced. Ganguly clarified that Bhatia’s name was only discussed and she was never officially approached.
Speaking to Free Press Journal, Krystle praised Tamannaah and addressed the culture of pitting people against each other:
“She would have killed it in her own way… Everyone would have done their best. I’m never going to take away from anyone who’s hardworking and consistent. There’s enough sun for everyone.”
She added a broader message about kindness and mental health:
“To bring somebody up, you don’t need to bring others down. Please don’t tear another person apart, because you don’t know how it can affect somebody mentally.”
Dhurandhar 2: Will Krystle Return?
When asked about joining the sequel, she teased fans in a chat with Galatta:
“Not a bad idea. Batate hai, batate hai. Jaldi.”
