Even before stepping onto the red carpet at the 98th Academy Awards, Kylie Jenner gave fans a sneak peek of her glamorous look for the night.

The ceremony was held at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 15 (March 16 IST). Taking to Instagram ahead of the ceremony, the beauty mogul shared a short video preview of the outfit she chose for one of Hollywood’s biggest nights.

Kylie wore a striking ruby-red body-hugging gown designed by Daniel Roseberry for Schiaparelli. The dress featured a plunging neckline and a small keyhole cutout on the chest. In the clip, she gave fans a closer look at the bold outfit she selected to close out this year’s awards season. She later appeared at the ceremony alongside her boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet.

Inspired by Jessica Rabbit

In the caption of her post, the 28-year-old entrepreneur wrote, “Jessica who,” revealing that her look for the evening was inspired by Jessica Rabbit from the novel Who Censored Roger Rabbit?.

Kylie completed the glamorous look with dazzling jewellery from Lorraine Schwartz. According to the jeweller, she wore nearly 200 carats of diamonds across her necklace, earrings and rings. She paired the statement outfit with understated makeup and left her hair open, allowing the dramatic gown and jewellery to take centre stage.

Kylie attends ceremony with Timothée Chalamet

Kylie attended the Oscars alongside Chalamet, who was nominated for Best Actor for his role in the film Marty Supreme. The actor complemented Jenner’s look in an all-white tailored suit. Although the couple did not walk the red carpet together, they were later seen holding hands during the ceremony. This marked the second time the pair attended the Oscars together.

Since they began dating, Jenner and Chalamet have made several public appearances at major award shows. During this year’s awards season, Jenner was often seen supporting the actor as he received widespread recognition for his performance in the sports drama.

Chalamet has already won major honours this season, including awards at the Critics’ Choice Awards and the Golden Globe Awards.

During his acceptance speeches at both ceremonies, the actor thanked Jenner for her support. At the Critics’ Choice Awards, Chalamet said, “Thank you for our foundation. I love you. I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

Jenner, enjoying the moment, was seen mouthing back, “I love you.” After winning Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy at the Golden Globes, Chalamet once again publicly acknowledged their relationship and thanked her for her continued support.
