Madhuri Dixit draws criticism for arriving three hours late at Canada show: Fans call it ‘worst experience ever’
Bollywood icon Madhuri Dixit has found herself at the center of controversy.
After fans expressed anger over her alleged late arrival during a Canada tour concert. Several attendees took to social media claiming that the actress arrived almost three hours late, leading to chaos and disappointment at the venue.
Videos from the event have been widely shared online, with many users labelling the show as “the worst ever.” One viral post read, “If I could give you one piece of advice, it’s to not attend the Madhuri Dixit tour… save your money.”
Fans express frustration
Concertgoers accused the organisers of mismanagement and false advertising, alleging that the event failed to deliver what was promised. One attendee wrote, “This was the worst show ever. So unorganised. The advertisement didn’t say she’d only chat and dance for two seconds to each song. People were yelling for refunds.”
Another said,
“She arrived nearly three hours late and spent most of the time talking. It was so disappointing.”
Several users also claimed that the tickets mentioned a 7:30 PM start time, but the show didn’t begin until 10 PM, forcing many to leave early. Some even suggested filing formal complaints against the organisers for “misrepresentation.”
Others defend the actress
While many expressed outrage, a few fans came to Madhuri’s defence, arguing that the delay was likely due to production or logistical issues beyond her control. One user wrote, “She performed beautifully as always. It’s unfair to blame her if the organisers messed up.”
Another added,
“Madhuri Dixit is a legend. Real fans would appreciate any glimpse of her. The organisers should take responsibility.”
No official response yet
As of now, neither Madhuri Dixit nor her team have released an official statement addressing the backlash. The controversy echoes a similar incident earlier this year involving singer Neha Kakkar, who apologised after facing criticism for arriving late at a Melbourne concert, citing poor event management.
Fans now await clarification from Madhuri’s side as videos and complaints from disappointed attendees continue to circulate online.
