The six-time world champion, who hails from Manipur, said she was informed about the theft by her neighbours while she was in Sohra, Meghalaya. “I am scared, nervous and worried as I was supposed to return to Delhi today. The theft happened earlier this week,” she told the marathon organisers.
Speaking further, Kom added, “I will know the exact extent of the loss only when I return home. CCTV footage shows them taking away the TV and other items. My neighbours told me it happened on September 24. I have already informed the police.”
