Rani Mukerji Salutes Indian Police Ahead of Mardaani 3.

Rani Mukerji is all set to return as the fearless cop Shivani Shivaji Roy in Yash Raj Films’ Mardaani 3. Ahead of the film’s release, she paid tribute to the Indian Police Force on Indian Police Day 2025. “It is an honour to salute the Indian Police through my film. Across the country, officers risk their lives, sacrifice personal moments, and work tirelessly to keep us safe. Words cannot do justice to their service,” Rani said.

She added, “Behind every uniform is a human being—a son, daughter, husband, wife, father, or mother—who chose the path of selfless service. Their courage and dedication inspire us all, and through Mardaani, I hope to honour them.”

After the successes of Mardaani (2014) and Mardaani 2 (2019), the third instalment promises a darker, grittier cinematic experience. Directed by Abhiraj Minawala and produced by Aditya Chopra, Mardaani 3 hits theatres on February 27, 2026.
