JeM Commander Claims Pakistan Army Honoured Terrorists Killed in India’s ‘Operation Sindoor’
Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) commander Ilyas Kashmiri has alleged that Pakistan Army chief General Asim Munir directed top officers to attend the funerals of terrorists killed in India’s ‘Operation Sindoor’. In a clip circulating on social media, Kashmiri said the army instructed commanders to honour the slain militants and ensure heavy security during the ceremonies.
The video also features Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry in a BBC interview, defending the tributes and noting that India has yet to provide proof of JeM’s role in the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, which killed 26 civilians. Earlier, Kashmiri admitted that the Bahawalpur missile strikes on May 7, targeting JeM headquarters, killed members of Masood Azhar’s family, including his sister, nephew, niece, five children, and close associates.
Bahawalpur, a long-standing JeM stronghold since Azhar’s release in 1999, became the focal point of India’s retaliatory strikes following the Pahalgam attack.
