Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha have welcomed their first child, a baby boy, just a day before Diwali.

The couple shared the joyful news on Instagram on October 19, following reports earlier in the day that Parineeti had been admitted to a hospital in Delhi.

In their announcement, accompanied by a blue graphic, they wrote:
“He is finally here! Our baby boy, and we literally can’t remember life before! Arms full, our hearts are fuller. First, we had each other, now we have everything. With gratitude, Parineeti and Raghav.”

Fans and well-wishers flooded the post with congratulatory messages. One fan wrote, “Omgggggg, now it’s a reason to celebrate! We are so happy for you and your families. Parineeti and Raghav had officially announced their pregnancy on August 25, 2025, sharing a cute Instagram post featuring a cake with the equation “1 + 1 = 3” and tiny footprints. This was followed by a video of Parineeti, visibly pregnant, taking a walk in a park hand-in-hand with Raghav.

Earlier, during an appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show, Raghav had hinted at the upcoming good news, saying, “Denge, aapko denge… good news jaldi denge (We’ll give you good news soon),” leaving Parineeti pleasantly surprised.

Parineeti and Raghav’s romance has captured public attention since their engagement on May 13, 2023, in New Delhi, which was attended by close family members and political figures including Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann. The couple tied the knot on September 24, 2023, at The Leela Palace, Udaipur, following intimate pre-wedding celebrations.
