According to official sources, the two leaders spoke over the phone and reviewed progress on key aspects of the bilateral agenda, reaffirming their commitment to strengthen the special and privileged strategic partnership between the two nations.
During the conversation, Prime Minister Modi conveyed his best wishes for President Putin’s good health and success and said he looked forward to hosting him in India. The India-Russia annual summit is expected to be held in early December, with discussions likely to focus on trade, defence cooperation, energy, and regional security issues.
