Ever since Sandeep Reddy Vanga announced Spirit, fans have been eagerly awaiting updates, flooding social media with fan-made posters and AI-generated visuals.
Marking the New Year, the makers on Wednesday unveiled the film’s first official poster, finally giving audiences a glimpse into the much-anticipated project. Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga shared the poster on X, captioning it, “INDIAN CINEMA. witness your AJANUBAHUDU / AJANUBAHU. Happy New Year 2026 (sic).”
The poster shows a wounded, shirtless Prabhas standing by a window, while Triptii Dimri lights his cigarette, creating a moment of quiet intimacy against a backdrop of visible scars. Prabhas is seen wearing off-white trousers and dark sunglasses, while Triptii appears in a beige outfit, accessorised with a gold bangle on her right wrist.
Spirit stars Prabhas and Triptii Dimri in the lead roles, with Prakash Raj, Vivek Oberoi and Kanchana featuring in key supporting parts. Korean actor Don Lee (Ma Dong-seok) is also reportedly part of the cast, though an official confirmation from the makers is awaited.
The film went on floors earlier this year with a launch ceremony attended by several industry veterans. Actor Chiranjeevi marked the occasion by giving the first clap. On Prabhas’ birthday, Vanga had earlier released a promotional teaser titled ‘sound story’, using the voices of Prakash Raj and Prabhas to introduce the world of Spirit.
Meanwhile, Prabhas is preparing for the release of his upcoming Sankranthi film The Raja Saab. Directed by Maruthi, the film stars Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal and Riddhi Kumar, with Boman Irani and Zarina Wahab in pivotal roles. Produced by T.G. Vishwa Prasad under the People Media Factory banner, The Raja Saab is scheduled to hit theatres on January 9.
