The pictures, which appear to have been taken without consent from a long-distance lens, show Katrina in casual attire, visibly pregnant. Fans immediately condemned the incident, calling it an invasion of privacy and urging police action against the photographer and publication involved.

The incident echoes a similar privacy breach faced by actress Alia Bhatt in 2022, when a media portal photographed her inside her Mumbai home during pregnancy. Alia had then called out the publication on Instagram, writing:

“Are you kidding me? I was at my house having a perfectly normal afternoon… only to realise two men on the terrace of a neighbouring building had a camera right at me! In what world is this okay and allowed?” She tagged both the Mumbai Police and the concerned outlet, urging stricter measures to protect public figures from such invasions.

Katrina and Vicky’s pregnancy announcement

In September, Katrina and Vicky officially announced that they were expecting their first child, sharing a black-and-white polaroid on Instagram. “On our way to start the best chapter of our lives with hearts full of joy and gratitude,” the caption read.

The couple’s announcement followed months of speculation, which began after a video of the duo at a Mumbai ferry port in July went viral. Katrina’s choice of loose clothing had then triggered pregnancy rumours, though the couple had chosen to remain private until their official statement.
