Rajkummar Rao, Patralekhaa Welcome Baby Girl on Their 4th Wedding Anniversary.
Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa have become parents to a baby girl. The couple announced the birth of their daughter on Saturday morning, sharing that she arrived on the same day as their fourth wedding anniversary.
“We are over the moon. God has blessed us with a baby girl,” they wrote in a joint statement, calling her arrival “the greatest blessing” on their special day.
Congratulations poured in instantly. Varun Dhawan commented, “❤️ Welcome to the club guys ❤️.” Bharti Singh, who is expecting her second child, wrote, “Congratulations 🥂🧿🙌🏼 beautiful journey ❤️.”
Ali Fazal added, “So, so happy to hear this. Congratulations you two beautiful people,” while Neeti Mohan said she “can’t wait to meet the little angel.” Neha Dhupia welcomed them to “the best hood… parenthood.”
When Patralekhaa Spoke About Her Pregnancy
In an earlier interaction with Hindustan Times, Patralekhaa had shared her excitement about stepping into motherhood. “The baby’s coming and professionally our first production is about to release. It’s an exciting phase,” she said.
Describing her pregnancy as a “source of light,” she added, “Your body changes so much in these nine months. It’s overwhelming, knowing a new member is about to join your family.”
Their Love Story
Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa’s relationship remains one of Bollywood’s most loved stories. The two met over a decade ago, and their bond strengthened while filming CityLights in 2014. Rajkummar has often said he felt she was “the one” the moment he saw her in an advertisement.
In October 2021, Rajkummar proposed to Patralekhaa, and the couple tied the knot a month later in Chandigarh. Their intimate wedding was attended by close family and friends. Patralekhaa wore a traditional red sari with a Bengali verse on her veil, while Rajkummar opted for an ivory sherwani.
The couple now steps into a new chapter with the arrival of their baby girl.
