Rashmika Mandanna Responds to Wedding Rumours With Vijay Deverakonda

Actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are once again at the centre of wedding speculation, with reports claiming the two will get married on February 26 in Udaipur.

While the actors have not confirmed the reports, Rashmika has now reacted to the renewed buzz. Speaking to Prema, Rashmika was asked directly about rumours that she and Vijay would tie the knot next month. Responding, she said, “It has been four years since these rumours began. People have been asking the same question and waiting for the same thing.”

She added, “The truth is, I will speak about it when it’s supposed to be spoken about. When it’s the right time, we will speak about it,” indicating she did not wish to address the matter publicly for now. Rashmika also said she would be open to discussing it off camera.

Wedding buzz around the couple

Speculation gained momentum recently after Rashmika and Vijay shared pictures from similar locations in Rome during the New Year, leading fans to believe they were vacationing together, though neither confirmed it.

According to reports, the two actors got engaged in a private ceremony in October 2025 with only close family members present. While no official announcement has been made, a Hindustan Times report claimed the wedding is scheduled for February 26, 2026, at a heritage palace in Udaipur.

Sources cited in the report said the wedding will be an intimate affair with no celebrity guests, similar to the reported engagement ceremony. Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna have previously worked together in Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade, and are expected to reunite for director Rahul Sankrityan’s upcoming film.

On the work front, Vijay was last seen in Gowtam Tinnanuri’s Kingdom, while Rashmika recently appeared in Thamma with Ayushmann Khurrana and in the Telugu film The Girlfriend. She has Cocktail 2 and Mysaa lined up, while Vijay will next be seen in Rowdy Janardhana.
