Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar has confirmed that his son, Arjun Tendulkar, is officially engaged to Saaniya Chandok. The couple held a private ceremony attended only by close family and friends.
Saaniya, who prefers to stay away from the public spotlight, comes from a prominent Mumbai business family. She is the granddaughter of entrepreneur Ravi Ghai, known for ventures such as the InterContinental hotel and Brooklyn Creamery ice cream brand.
Tendulkar shared the news during a Reddit “Ask Me Anything” (AMA) session on August 25. When a fan asked, “Did Arjun really get engaged?” he replied, “Yes he did, and we are all very excited for the new phase in his life.”
Sara’s Success in Focus
During the AMA, Tendulkar also praised his daughter Sara Tendulkar for her entrepreneurial achievements. Sara recently launched a Pilates studio in Andheri, Mumbai, emphasizing core strength, flexibility, posture, and controlled breathing. The studio features reformers, mats, and resistance tools, with professional instructors guiding clients to enhance overall wellness.
Highlighting Sara’s dedication, Tendulkar said: “Her commitment and perseverance were key to turning her dream into reality. I have always believed that you must chase your dreams because that’s how they become a reality. Like in cricket and in life, you have to trust the process, and results always follow the action.”
Sara, recently named the face of Tourism Australia’s “Come and Say G’day” campaign for Indian audiences, shared that she invests time daily to ensure her studio operates exactly as she envisioned, reflecting her personal commitment to quality and wellness.
This announcement celebrates a joyful milestone for the Tendulkar family, showcasing both Arjun’s engagement and Sara’s professional accomplishments.
